The address above is your temp mail inbox. It already works, it cost nothing, and you didn’t have to hand over your name or a password. Use it wherever a site insists on an email address, and it disappears on its own after 30 minutes.
What temp mail is
Temp mail, short for temporary mail, is an email address you use once and walk away from. People also call it temp email, disposable email or a throwaway address. They all mean the same thing: a real address that receives real mail, without being tied to you.
Your everyday inbox collects newsletters and marketing because you keep giving out the same address. A temp mail address breaks that pattern. When it expires, anything sent to it afterwards goes nowhere near you.
How to use temp mail
- 1
Copy the address
It is at the top of this page. Press Copy or click the address itself.
- 2
Paste it into the form
Any sign-up form, free trial, download page or coupon box that asks for an email.
- 3
Read your mail here
Messages arrive within seconds without a refresh, and verification codes are pulled out so you can copy them in one click.
What you get for free
- An address that lasts 30 minutes, with a countdown so you always know how long is left
- Messages kept for 30 minutes after they arrive, then deleted from the server
- No account, no password and no personal details
- Emails opened in a sandbox that blocks scripts, with remote images hidden until you choose to load them
- A new address whenever you want one, with a random name or a name you pick
When temp mail is the wrong choice
Free temp mail inboxes are shared: anyone who uses the same address can read what is in it. That is fine for a one-time code and wrong for anything personal. Don’t use one for banking, shopping or any account you may need to recover, because a password reset can’t reach an address that has expired.
Frequently asked questions
Is temp mail really free?
Yes. A free address needs no account or payment and lasts 30 minutes. Pro addresses, which are permanent and private, are a paid option bought in the GoMail or MailBin app.
Can I send email from temp mail?
No. These addresses only receive mail, which keeps them from being used to send spam.
Why did a site reject my temp email?
Some sites block known temporary email domains. Press Change and try an address on a different domain. If the site still refuses, it may only accept permanent addresses.
